Adding .NET Core 1.0 ASP.NET Hosting
With ASP.NET Core 1.0 released on June 27 finally, I think it is time to enable .NET Core 1.0 hosting and bring ASP.NET sites to modern age.

This was completed about 2 weeks ago. Documentation on www.gearhost.com/documentation will be released shortly.

I've just tried to launch .net core webAPI just like it is created from templete in Visual Studio 2017.
This is not working, I see "HTTP Error 502.5 - Process Failure".
What should I do? -
Please open a support ticket if you are having an issue. We can help.

I have been trying to make my asp.net core 1.0 application run on my gearhost account but no luck. I even look at that website that was referred by gearhost chat but it didn't work. Any suggestions? I'm getting 502.5 Process Failure error. Thanks in advance.

When we launch .NET Core support it will be launched with SCD (self-contained deployment) support. For more information about this see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/articles/core/deploying/index.

Get excited! This will be completed in the next 2 weeks.

A lot of other hosting companies have embraced this and my company has moved on to .net core and we are looking for a hosting company that can give us a nice price. i wished gearhost has this already because i am her big fan.

I tried to publish a core web app today only to find out that it isn't supported yet.
Please take time to add support for this as it is a promising platform and presumably the most preferred way of writing .NET web apps from this point forward.
