   What you see is the pending referral balance. Everyone you refer gets $10 in credit. Once they’ve accumulated $25 in billings, you get $25. There is no limit on the amount of credit you can earn through referrals.

   Unlimited bandwidth in hosting is not real. We offer ample amounts of bandwidth and customers don’t have issues with it so we would rather do that as there is no such thing as unlimited bandwidth.

   The Free CloudSite is not meant to be used in production. A Free CloudSite has limited resources, concurrent connections, features, etc. As such it would be useless to allow SSL on the Free CloudSite plan. While it could benefit some sites GearHost needs to have a way to encourage users to upgrade to paid plans.

   We don’t allow SSL on Free accounts by nature. This is not planned. You would need to upgrade to Hobby or above to access the SSL feature.

    We allow customers to install phpMyAdmin on their own but there are no plans to include a phpMyAdmin that is maintained by GearHost. Our recommended method is to use the approved MySQL tools, phpMyAdmin is not one of them. For further details please see https://www.gearhost.com/documentation/connect-to-a-mysql-database.

    Unfortunately, we do not have plans to open an ASIA Datacenter. We plan to stick with the US and EU markets.

    I am not sure what you mean. You cannot change the time zone information as no host would allow this. Your code should always be programmed to not be reliant on the host time zone so that you can change the location without any code changes.

    You are able to install plugins from within WordPress. Some plugins are not compatible however the major majority are and can be installed form the admin interface of WP.
